 Joni
Evans, Delegate of South Florida Area 15, Panel 61 passed to spirit Tuesday
April 19, 2011. Joni arrived in Florida in 1996 with almost a 10-year backround
of good, solid service in NYC and she willingly jumped right into service here
in Pinellas County, serving on many levels and helping wherever needed. She then
moved on to South Florida Area 15 General Service , working her way up to
Delegate. Joni was a tireless, cheerful servant and a shining example to all.
She was known for her strong opinions, hard work, and a passionate love of the
Alcoholics Anonymous Program.
Joni will be sorely
missed by many friends, sponsees and members of all service
committees here in Pinellas County, District 1, as well as the
entire South Florida Area 15.
